Built in the 1700’s the tunnels are steeped in history and are available for hire for various different events,

If however you hold a wedding here, the venue comes alive transformed in to a magical labyrinth of tunnels which are lit with over 800 tea light candles, a truly breath taking sight.

We promise you, your guests will be amazed. Because the Fort is such a unique place, to enhance your special day you can add a harpist, saxophonist, drummer or “jumping the broomstick ceremony” You could have Napoleonic soldiers to greet  your guests or a cannon fired to tell the whole of North Kent your good news!!.

For your ceremony we can accommodate 100 people, you can also hold your reception with us, there are a few options open to you,  either keep the whole day inside the tunnels and completely lose yourselves from the outside world. We can accommodate approx 60 people for a sit down meal, more for a buffet, or hold your reception in a marquee on the grounds with fantastic views over the river.

We have ample free car parking facilities with close connections to the A2, M2 and M20. Gatwick airport is only a 45minute drive away.
